EBE Technologies Reports Increased Revenue for Fiscal Year 2020

EAST MOLINE, Ill., Nov. 18, 2020 - EBE Technologies, the leader in business process management applications for the transportation industry, today announces the completion of its fiscal year 2020, ending September 30. A record year of revenue was achieved as EBE realized an 11% increase in revenue from new client acquisitions and a 36% increase in additional purchases from existing clients.

In March 2020, Coronavirus brought uncertainty throughout the country and caused many companies to review their work processes. EBE’s solutions allowed carriers and their staff to adapt to mandates for a safer workplace while maintaining successful operations.

“This has been an unparalleled year for upheaval in the transportation industry. Some of our clients in specific industry segments were affected more than others, but the impact was universal,” said Larry Kerr, EBE president. “Our new client acquisitions were driven in part by carriers that could not utilize their legacy imaging solutions in work-from-home or mobile configurations.”

EBE developed a new application because of health concerns surrounding the pandemic. Its electronic bill of lading (e-BOL) solution allows for touch-free signatures, ensuring a higher level of safety for drivers and staff. The company also made enhancements to its artificial intelligence (AI) solution, Navigator. The enterprise-wide application automates repetitive tasks so carrier staff can focus on more strategic activities.

In year 2020, EBE’s existing clients saw the value in its range of solutions and purchased more applications to expand their paperless processes. The modules benefit the entire enterprise including: Accounts payable, invoice resolution, rate contract management, driver qualification (DQ) file management, driver on-boarding and mobile capture.

In first quarter, fiscal 2021, EBE plans to launch the latest version of its flagship solution, Shipping and Hauling Image Processing System, or SHIPS. The first release of SHIPS 6 will replace the current SHIPS recruiting, onboarding, and safety solution.

EBE’s managed services compliance company, InfoStream, added several thousand drivers under driver management and will unveil a new Risk Management Information System (RMIS) in first calendar quarter, 2021. InfoStream also expanded integrations into enterprise resource planning systems, including SAP, Oracle, and Workday. The new integrations streamline Department of Transportation-compliant applications, prefilling it with data and providing termination dates for DQ files.

EBE is positive about fiscal 2021, based on an anticipated economic recovery and the continuing need for content management systems that support a remote work force and reduced staffing levels.

Admiral Merchants Success Story

InfoStream Risk Management Solution More Effectively Manages Claims Process and Mitigates Risk

Admiral Merchants Success Story"With InfoStream, everyone in our organization is on the same page. We instantly get a complete picture of a driver in a single dashboard, which has made us more efficient and has allowed us to make data-driven decisions that help us mitigate risk," said Mark Dooley, Manager of Risk at Admiral Merchants.

Admiral Merchant Motor Freight, Inc., was founded in 1929 with a small fleet of trucks, and has grown to a network of 532 independent contractors and approximately 300 agents. Based in Minneapolis, MN, and operating across the United States and Canada, Admiral Merchants focuses on flatbed cargo including heavy haul, oversize, and military loads. The company is in its second generation of family ownership and operates a flexible business model that has proved to be highly successful, accomplishing revenue growth averaging 20% per year by ensuring that their work processes are efficient and enable the company to deliver excellent service to business partners and customers.

challenge

Admiral Merchants began its partnership with EBE when they implemented SHIPS Recruiting and Onboarding solutions. Once the drivers were onboarded, they wanted to complement the solutions already implemented with workflow and process management solutions that would support their owner-operator business model which poses its own set of challenges. It was important for Admiral Merchants to have a cohesive set of systems that were more than just a repository of data and documents. While some departments had minimal workflow functionality, Admiral needed a system that would tear down the silos and connect all of their departments to more effectively bring an automated workflow through the entire company, as well as allowing them to supervise their independent contractors in order to better mitigate risk.

solution

EBE stood out as a business partner that was willing to develop a risk management and claims system for the company via InfoStream, EBE's safety and compliance division. Admiral Merchants adopted the driver management, safety, claims, and accident scene management solutions as well as the litigation manager solution. All of these systems have put everyone in the Admiral Merchants organization on the same page, to more effectively position the company to give everyone a clear picture of the information they need, in turn allowing the company to mitigate risk.

results

Since implementing the InfoStream solutions, Admiral Merchants has seen significant improvements in the organization's efficiency and ability to mitigate risk.

Full Access to Complete Driver Profiles

With the adoption of the InfoStream driver management and safety and compliance solutions, Admiral Merchants is able to get a clear picture of their drivers through the driver scorecard. Every driver's history and CSA scores are available in one single view. Rather than sorting through notes and scrambling to get the information they need, all pertinent employees have access to the drivers' profiles and can use that information to observe behavior trends and more proactively correct driver behavior BEFORE an accident occurs.

Workflow Automation Maximizes Efficiency Within Departments

InfoStream's solutions have allowed the staff at Admiral Merchants to work more efficiently in each department, not just in driver management. The credit and collections departments have instant access to claim statuses, and are able to get instant updates when the status changes. The automated workflows inherent in the InfoStream system help keep the cargo and accident department on track, since the response deadlines are custom-configured to the needs of the department. With InfoStream, nothing falls through the cracks – not even minor claims – thanks to workflow alerts that notify employees what steps to take and when.

Proactive Cargo Claims Management with Third-Party Integration

Admiral Merchants is taking advantage of the enhanced capabilities of the InfoStream Risk Management solution, which allows for optimized functionality for cargo claims including brokerage notification, deductible calculation, and the ability to track the progress of the cargo claim from initial filing to claim completion. Even more, employees in the claims department are able to distribute documentation directly to the insurance companies and other third parties, and the system even notifies staff when the company is in danger of exceeding the self-insured retention rate, which greatly mitigates any risk of future legal action. Additionally, every item entered into the InfoStream system is linked to the corresponding accident file, so all updates are logged and time-stamped, providing an audit trail of all actions taken that is crucial in a litigation situation.

Customizable Reporting for Full Management Visibility

The accident dashboard allows Admiral Merchants staff to customize reports to provide unparalleled visibility to KPIs for management. With a number of reporting criteria to choose from, staff can narrow the data down to a granular level to better track trends that can be exported to other Business Intelligence and third-party applications. Additionally, by tracking these trends, staff can communicate that information to drivers to improve communication, and staff can use the data to update and distribute safety awards in the company's driver recognition program.

future

As a second-generation, family-owned company, Admiral Merchants likes to maintain that family business culture, and InfoStream's solutions have allowed them to remain loyal to their employees. Rather than replacing staff with automation and cutting down on their workforce, the company instead plans to service additional contractors without adding staff. The InfoStream system has allowed staff to perform less data entry to manage the routine details and focus more on building relationships with drivers and customers, ensuring that the company runs more efficiently while still maintaining the personal connection that is the backbone of their corporate philosophy.

ContainerPort Group Success Story

InfoStream Onboarding, Safety and Compliance Solutions Lead to Improved Compliance, Increased Revenue Opportunities and Higher Driver and Employee Satisfaction

ContainerPort Group Success Story"InfoStream has helped us improve our compliance and risk management processes to become a safer and more compliant fleet," said ContainerPort Group's VP of Safety & Compliance.

ContainerPort Group, founded in 1971 and headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, is an international and domestic intermodal carrier. With 1300 independent contractors in 23 terminal locations, CPG specializes in intermodal services including container trucking, container depot operations, rail, warehousing, and logistics east of the Rockies. As the company has grown, they have determined a need to improve process management and visibility to information in the areas of onboarding, safety, and risk.

challenge

With so many disparate systems housing all of its driver, safety, and risk information, CPG found itself challenged to view and respond to time-sensitive, risk-related data and events. Various departments had access to limited information, but there was no way to get a complete view of fleet and driver behavior without an extensive amount of manual interaction.

solution

Selected for its innovative automation functionality and configurable workflow management processes in a single, end-to-end solution, ContainerPort Group chose the following SHIPS safety and transportation compliance solutions:

The InfoStream system has become the company's system of record for all safety-related information and behavior, giving CPG a leg up in maintaining a safe, productive, and satisfied fleet of drivers.

Improved Efficiencies Reduced Safety Staffing Overhead Costs by 20%, and Improved DQ File Compliance Leading to 50% Reduction in Out of Service Status Due to Expired Documents

CPG has seen improvements in the organization's processes and efficiency. By allowing its staff to work by exception, the company has reduced staffing overhead costs by 20%. The system has also streamlined communications with the company's field operations, improving efficiency not just in the office, but in the remote locations as well. As a result, fewer drivers are placed out of service waiting for expired documents to be renewed, resulting in a 50% improvement in updating expired documents.

Streamlined and Improved Accuracy for Compliance Audits

Expectations of InfoStream's Driver Qualification File Management Solution were exceeded when CPG engaged in a DOT compliance audit. As a result of the DOT file integrity, the retrieval process of the auditors' requested files was easy to accomplish and the files provided were complete, accurate, and compliant upon review. The combined systems and processes made possible with the DQ File Management solution demonstrated to the auditors CPG's commitment and investment to enrich its safety program which ultimately resulted in a positive review.

Increased Employee Satisfaction

The unprecedented automation and workflow capabilities within the InfoStream solution has freed the CPG safety and field office personnel to focus less on chasing down paperwork and more on their primary job functions. Safety staff are spending more time managing and identifying risk-based activities while the terminal managers are spending more time with their drivers. In addition to the improved efficiencies gained as a result of the system, overall employee satisfaction has increased across the organization, leading to higher retention rates and a safer fleet of drivers.

Integrations to Legacy Systems Provide for Synchronized Information

As a function of the platform, InfoStream provides integrations to dispatch and other third-party systems. CPG is able to import data and documents from their applicant tracking system to the InfoStream onboarding and driver management solutions. Additionally, data is able to be exported and imported between CPG's dispatch system and InfoStream. This integration minimizes or eliminates the redundancy of re-keying information into multiple systems as well as eliminates the risk of inconsistent and/or inaccurate information residing in multiple databases.

future

ContainerPort Group is eager to leverage even more information from third-party systems that will integrate with the InfoStream Driver Performance Management platform. By incorporating additional outside data into the system, be it driver performance, background reports, or in-cab video technology, CPG is looking forward to extending the value of all implemented solutions.

EBE Technologies Reports Another Year of Strong Revenue Growth

Eleventh Consecutive Year of More than 15 Percent Increase in Top-Line Revenue

EAST MOLINE, IL - EBE Technologies, the leader in transportation-specific workflow and business process management applications for the transportation industry, today announces a strong finish for its 2019 fiscal year ending September 30th. EBE achieved a record year of revenue growth as the company realized a 21% increase in revenue over FY 2018. This represents the eleventh consecutive year of growth in excess of 15%.

The contributing factor in this growth is the continued acceptance and implementation of EBE's products and services within the transportation industry. Fueling the acceptance is the completion of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) workflow solution which provides seamless interoperability within a transportation provider's back-office systems. EBE's AI workflow solution offers the ability to execute strategic transactions automatically, presenting only the out-of-standard transactions for manual review.

Also contributing to EBE's growth is the acceleration of the acceptance of tactical solutions such as the SHIPS Mobile application that provides mobile document and data capture, a paperless orientation and onboarding solution, an intuitive learning management solution, integrated accounts payable solutions, and comprehensive safety software and services. These solutions were installed within transportation providers' legacy document management systems that lacked these capabilities. In addition, recurring revenues from EBE’s cloud-based solutions -- as well as additional software module purchases from current clients -- provided increased top-line revenue growth.

"As we are all well aware, costs within the transportation industry continue to rise," said Larry Kerr, President of EBE Technologies. "When we are contacted by a prospective client, the main request is to help them become more efficient, because too much manual effort is involved in their current processes. In some instances, a specific department is cited, but more often than not it is an enterprise request."

"We have added over forty new enterprise clients, over twenty tactical solution clients, and our existing clients purchased over one hundred and thirty modules to supplement their SHIPS system," continued Kerr. "In addition, InfoStream, an EBE company providing safety and compliance software solutions and services, added nearly 25,000 drivers under its managed services arm."

"EBE has plans to introduce a new company this year. The company's charter will be to market EBE's solution on a horizontal basis, with a focus on specific accounting systems. In the past, we have declined opportunities for new clients outside the transportation vertical. Now, with this new company, we have the ability to expand our reach while keeping EBE laser-focused within the transportation industry," added Kerr.

As an ongoing effort toward continuous improvement, EBE is implementing a Net Promoter survey solution to help manage the company's internal and external quality based on KPI ratings among clients and partners. This information will allow EBE to add a qualitative component to their operation, which will help in the company's talent acquisition, training services, and product direction. EBE's goal is to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales, implementation, and support experience. Further, EBE has adopted an agile implementation methodology to better manage the planning and deployment of SHIPS solutions.

Forecasts for 2020 look positive based on EBE's historical growth as well as new client projects currently under consideration. EBE's latest version of SHIPS will be in full production in early January. The new SHIPS system will be delivered with all the SHIPS modules included in the initial deployment. Once an additional module is purchased, the client will receive an activation code which will allow for the configuration of the additional module. This capability will greatly reduce initial implementation time and deployment of subsequent modules, further improving the EBE client experience.

On-Time Delivery: The Crucial Metric for Measuring Efficiency

Monitoring on-time delivery is a crucial part of measuring driver performance, and can help your company identify opportunities for improving both driver and customer satisfaction. The information available through dispatch may include excused/unexcused status as well as the reason code for the delivery performance. These statuses can trigger specific workflow activities as well as generate insightful reports. The On-Time Delivery metrics can be monitored automatically by InfoStream’s Driver Performance solution and included in the self-generating driver scorecard.

Driver Observation Solution for Transportation Companies

Driver Observations: Improve Customer Satisfaction

Observation of driver behavior is an important metric to use when measuring driver performance. Driver behavior, as it relates to customer service, is monitored, assessed and acted upon based on customer service input. Both positive and negative behavior is tracked as shippers provide feedback to the carrier regarding the driver's service and behavior. The company has measurable information to make informed decisions and drivers have visibility into how they are being evaluated against the company's customer satisfaction standards. The documented or observed events can be assigned point values for positive and negative behavior. These metrics can be monitored automatically by InfoStream’s Driver Performance solution and included in the self-generating driver scorecard. Both parties benefit from this tracking and measurement system which greatly increases customer and driver satisfaction — leading to a more service-oriented and profitable carrier.

These points are rolled up into a driver scorecard that showcases all driver behavior in a single, comprehensive view that eliminates the need for managers to spend time retrieving information from various sources. The scorecard can then be shared with drivers as well as management – a convenient means of promoting healthy competition among drivers to strive for excellence.

Monitoring and responding to driver performance is critical to the safety of your fleet and sustainability of your company. With InfoStream solutions, you can streamline this process and spend less time tracking data and more time engaging with drivers.

CSA Management Solution for Transportation Compliance

Safety & Compliance

CSA Management Solution: Designed for Visibility and Flexibility

InfoStream’s CSA Management tool gives carriers a comprehensive approach to provide the most visibility and flexibility in identifying and acting on at-risk driving behavior while managing company performance to the BASIC percentiles set forth by the FMCSA.

On a daily basis, the system monitors all associated inspections assigned to the carrier and its drivers contained within FMCSA Compass website. This information is imported into InfoStream’s CSA Management Dashboard and then calculates the company and driver measures and percentiles.

This information is used as the basis for InfoStream’s CSA workflow solution which provides visibility to the drivers that have exceeded the maximum thresholds the company determines is most at-risk. Based on the specific behavior or BASIC percentile, workflow can automatically execute the appropriate corrective response such as assigning training, sending violation letters, or adding points to the company's safety scorecard. The driver's CSA scorecard is included in the overall driver profile.

The CSA dashboard combined with the CSA Workflow provides carriers with the ability to be proactive in addressing at-risk behavior vs. being reactive to unsafe activities and events.

CSA Management Solution Highlights:

  • Company-specific reporting capability -- by company type, division, manager, etc.
  • Detailed search and sorting functionality
  • Daily downloads of all newly-reported inspections
  • TMS integration to utilize the resulting information with carrier's existing systems
  • Driver validation to insure accuracy of inspections assigned to the carrier
  • Workflow integration capability to automate response to identified behavior

Annual Safety Review Solution for Transportation Companies

Safety & Compliance

Streamline Your Annual Safety Reviews

For carriers who perform the annual safety review on the driver’s hire date, keeping track of those anniversaries is a challenge. Ease your administrative burden and streamline your annual safety review process with InfoStream’s automated solution.

Annual Safety Review Solution Highlights:

  • Automatically notifies carriers when a driver's annual safety review is pending.
  • Sends notifications to drivers that a Certificate of Violation (COV) form is ready to be completed in the Driver Portal.
  • Triggers the system to order an MVR for the driver.
  • Compares the MVR and the COV data and enters any out-of-standard documentation into an automated workflow for review.
  • Creates an Annual Safety Review packet that includes the MVR and COV in the same file for easy retrieval in the case of a DOT audit.

Driver Training & Certification for Transportation Compliance

Safety & Compliance

Training When (And Where) You Need It

With InfoStream’s Driver Training and Certification modules, you can better manage your drivers' training and certifications for FMCSA compliance and skill improvement. Through driver safety workflows, training modules are assigned to a driver as a normal business process, based on an identified behavior event or scoring a metric that identifies them as potentially at-risk.

Training can also be assigned on scheduled time intervals such as quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. In any case, once the system assigns training and due dates are determined, automated workflows follow driver compliance through completion. Alerts and notifications are sent to drivers and managers regarding their training status. All of the driver's training history is available through the single view of the driver's profile, providing a complete snapshot of driver safety behavior all in one place.

Driver Training & Certification Solution Highlights:

  • Assign training to multiple drivers at once based on time frame, terminal, or behavior.
  • Keep drivers apprised of training completion status.
  • Generate escalation alerts when training is not completed in the assigned time frame.
  • Automatically reschedule training to ensure transportation compliance.
  • Through integration with the dispatch system, the SHIPS solution can automatically deactivate noncompliant drivers until the necessary training is completed.

Log Violation Management Solution for Transportation Compliance

Safety & Compliance

Improve Driver Accountability and DOT Compliance

Eliminate the burden of managing HOS violations with InfoStream’s Log Violation Management workflow solution. Even with ELDs in place today, the process of managing violations continues to be a burden for most safety departments. The process rests on the staff to address the violations incurred by drivers.

Typically, the violation reports are reviewed by management, then either warning notifications, letters, or meetings are scheduled based on the violation type. This continues to be a very manual process, not to mention the challenge of tracking DOT compliance of the assigned corrective actions to the driver.

InfoStream’s Log Violation Management solution automatically triggers workflows and streamlines the processes necessary to address non-compliance of Hours of Service violations. And, because the entire process is done electronically, a complete audit trail of all activity associated with each violation is available at your fingertips.

Log Violation Management Solution Highlights:

  • Monitors ELDs and log violation reports to execute workflow.
  • Provides automated letters and notifications to drivers and managers.
  • Delivers driver tasks via email, fax, text, mobilecomm and/or driver portal.
  • Executes automated corrective activities based on violation type and/or frequency of violation type.
  • Maintains violation documents in DQ file for a safety-related audit trail.
  • Consistently responds to violations in a standard manner.
  • Easily identifies at-risk drivers, mitigating non-compliant behavior.

Roadside Inspection Management Solution for Transportation Companies

Safety & Compliance

Track, Process, and Manage Roadside Inspections with Confidence

InfoStream’s Roadside Inspection Management Solution is a comprehensive application that synchronizes the activity reported through the FMCSA Compass portal, DOT compliance regulations, and carriers' business processes associated with driver roadside inspection activity.

The solution tracks the entire event, from the roadside inspection occurrence and posting by the state through the collection of information and required company and DOT documents. The cycle is completed by providing workflow visibility to the submission of compliance documentation to the state. The application executes the workflow processes associated with the inspection results, ensuring that notifications, documentation, and positive and corrective responses are executed consistently.

Roadside Inspection Management Solution Highlights:

  • Provides central portal to initiate the roadside inspection process for complete visibility.
  • Eliminates the manual process of matching driver roadside inspection reports with those posted by the state through the Compass Portal.
  • Provides immediate visibility to all inspections for real-time behavior management.
  • Ensures FMCSA reporting and DOT compliance.
  • Updates carrier-maintained driver scorecard to track overall performance which may lead to coaching opportunities.

EBE Technologies Reports Strong Revenue Growth for Fiscal Year 2018

Tenth Consecutive Year of More than 15 Percent Increase in Top-Line Revenue

EAST MOLINE, IL - EBE Technologies, the leader in transportation-specific workflow and business process management applications for the transportation industry, today announces a strong finish for its 2018 fiscal year ending September 30th. A record year of revenue growth was achieved as EBE realized a 22% increase in revenue over FY 2017. This represents the tenth consecutive year of growth in excess of 15%.

The contributing factor in this growth is EBE's continued investment in new products and services, while continuing to provide enhancements to existing solutions. EBE's SHIPS applications offer unparalleled efficiency gains and operational improvements. EBE's solutions offer the ability to execute strategic transactions automatically, presenting only the out-of-standard transactions for manual review.

Also contributing to EBE's growth is the addition of numerous new transportation companies, logistics operations and private fleets to its client base in fiscal year 2018. These companies were motivated by EBE's ability to offer additional functionality to improve overall efficiencies that they were not gaining with their legacy document imaging, safety and recruiting systems. In addition, reoccurring revenues from EBE's cloud-based solution and current clients purchasing additional software modules provided top-line revenue growth.

"This past year has been incredibly fast-paced, achieving some very significant accomplishments. To name a few, we celebrated our 45th year in business, launched several new products and many enhancements to the existing product portfolio," said Larry Kerr, President. "Additionally, we formed a new managed services compliance company, InfoStream. Heading up the new organization is Steve Wilhelms, an industry expert with over 20 years of safety, compliance and risk experience. EBE's integration expertise puts InfoStream at a major advantage as we can connect with EBE's as well as other recruiting systems to provide some of the more labor-intensive pre- and post-hire regulatory requirements such as managing drug tests, scheduling physicals and performing employment verifications in addition to post-employment compliance services," adds Kerr.

Other new developments this year includes the addition of integration functionality between EBE's mobility solutions and carriers’ dispatch systems. A direct result of this integration has led to a carrier's ability to significantly reduce the time from delivery to billing. In one such case, the carrier was billing moves and forwarding the required paperwork to shippers within one hour of delivery. Consequently, the billing staff's productivity has improved as they are now only processing out-of-standard transactions. This process would have been unimaginable just a few years ago, which is an indicator as to how quickly new technology is not only changing but also being adopted by the industry.

As an ongoing effort toward continuous improvement, EBE has instituted operational-level changes with the goal of further improving the customer experience as it relates to service and support. EBE has implemented a new ticketing system aimed at expediting support desk services for improved efficiency. EBE has also hired solution-specific account management personnel to ensure a smooth implementation and training process for its customers. All of these changes support EBE's dedication to helping its clients improve operational efficiencies and profitability while delivering innovative business process management solutions.

Forecasts for 2019 look positive based on EBE's historical growth as well as new client projects currently under consideration. As EBE's footprint of product offerings expand throughout the enterprise, its current clients continue to extend SHIPS solutions throughout multiple operational areas to achieve similar benefits. New client adoption will continue to be focused across EBE's solution portfolio including workflow and imaging, driver recruiting and onboarding, safety and compliance, risk, fleet maintenance, learning management and fleet mobility.

DOT Physicals

DOT Physicals

DOT Physical Management for Maximum Compliance

The FMCSA requires commercial drivers operating equipment with a vehicle weight rating of over 10,000 lbs. to obtain and maintain a valid Medical Examiner's certificate. InfoStream's access to the nationwide network of providers positions us to schedule, monitor and manage DOT physicals in compliance with Part 391.41. Whether it is a pre-employment physical or renewing one that is expiring, InfoStream will ensure that you and your drivers are notified and scheduled with a provider listed in the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners.

DOT Physical Solution Highlights

  • Maintain and monitor the medical card for expiration status
  • Utilize carriers' existing clinics or InfoStream's national network
  • Manage the self-certification requirements for CDL holders
  • Communicate with your drivers directly to assist in facility location and instructions
  • Provide visibility to management through integrated dashboards of pending and completed physicals
  • Streamline the entire process to minimize productivity interruptions

Drug & Alcohol Testing

Drug & Alcohol Testing

Managed Drug and Alcohol Compliance

Maintaining compliance and adhering to the regulatory requirements outlined for controlled substances federal regulations Part 382 is an ongoing challenge. InfoStream's drug and alcohol testing service is professionally managed and is connected to the largest selection of providers available. Our comprehensive program includes DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing, monitoring and policy reviews.

Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol Testing Service

DOT mandatory pre-employment testing requires a negative test before your driver can conduct a safety-sensitive function. Non-DOT required testing is conducted under company policy. We schedule both and get results quickly -- expediting the driver onboarding process.

Random

The DOT mandates all fleets who operate CDL drivers have a random drug and alcohol program. Each year this testing must be conducted at a certain percentage to meet requirements. We maintain the testing pool, send notifications when testing is required, and track specimens and results.

Reasonable Suspicion

Reasonable suspicion testing is a sensitive matter surrounded by multiple implications if not handled correctly. Supervisors must have training to require a driver to submit to both a drug and alcohol reasonable suspicion test. InfoStream can protect your company by expertly navigating your team through the complexities of meeting standards for reasonable suspicion testing.

Post-Accident Testing

FMCSA requires post- accident drug and alcohol testing when certain conditions are met under Part 382.303.  InfoStream utilizes collection facilities, clinics and in certain circumstances mobile collection to assist in complying with this regulation. Additionally, InfoStream provides the motor carrier with the ability to document the situation if certain required criteria can not be met due to regulatory time constraints.

Non-DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Service

Company policy drug and alcohol testing service is a valuable tool for maintaining workplace safety and reducing costs associated with workers compensation claims. Our team of certified experts can help you review your current policy or draft a policy for your specific business needs.

Driver Qualification File Management for Transportation:
End to End Compliance

The process of managing Driver Qualification (DQ) files for a company is daunting. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations require motor carriers to maintain a DQ file for each commercial driver. Every file must comply with the regulation outlined in 49 CFR part 391.  Be it building the DQ file at the qualification and on-boarding phase or maintaining your current drivers' DQ files, paying the required amount of attention to detail can make the difference between operating a compliant and safe fleet vs. one with mounting violations that put your drivers and fleet at risk.  InfoStream's team of professionals can handle your end to end compliance needs.
